Oliver - Woodward Academy senior pictures

Oliver's session has to be one of my all-time favorites. When his mom asked me to be his senior photographer I was so excited when she suggested shooting at Ponce City Market! I love shooting in Downtown Atlanta because there are just so many places to go and, even if I did every session here, none of them would look exactly the same. We took a few pictures of Oliver in his suit on the rooftop at PCM before we found out that they don't allow photography up there. If that is something you want then I think you can arrange it but you have to schedule it like you would an event. It's a really cool place and I'm sure the light is better later in the day but at this time of day the sun was still a bit too high in the sky and I had to be more creative finding places with shade and they turned out great! Oliver also wanted to do some of his senior pictures with the iconic Jackson Street Bridge skyline view so we ran over there after we finished up at the market. There are plans to change the bridge sometime in the next couple years and I'm excited but also nervous to see how it turns out. It will be a shame if it changes so much that we can't get that skyline in our pictures anymore but I know it probably needs renovating to make it safer!
