The Class of 2026 has officially graduated and left the building! That means it’s now time to welcome the Class of 2027 seniors!
As summer sessions begin in June, I always take time to evaluate what worked best over the previous year and where I can continue to improve. One of the biggest changes I made this past year was offering clients all of the images captured during their session. I used to have them choose their favorite images because each package included a limited number of digital files.
Not anymore!
The session featured in this post was a major reason I made that change!
This change has made the experience feel more generous and more enjoyable for everyone. It also gives me the freedom to share more of my favorite images without limiting what my clients can receive. Now, instead of narrowing things down to only a few selections, clients get to enjoy the full story of their session. It truly is a win for everyone!
Each of the four packages I offer now include ALL of your digital images! In addition to digital images, my Plus and Premium Packages also include products such as albums or frames and they include a mini-session that you can use later in the year for cap 'n gown pictures or your college tee!
When Lee booked their session, she expressed the desire to have flowers included in the location but also wanted to incorporate their love of the theater as well. Being able to create a session that included both these types of locations was a challenge I was up for and we absolutely knocked it out of the park!
I also loved that she wanted to bring her little dog along and we got some of the cutest photos of them together!
It was so much fun to collaborate with another creative! During the session, I created a variety of double and multiple exposure images in camera. Some were made by preventing the camera from advancing to the next frame, while others were created by reusing a roll of film from a previous floral shoot and running it back through the camera during her senior portraits. The results were stunning, and this is one of my favorite ways to add something truly unique to a session!
