Morgan - Senior Session in Atlanta

I hardly know where to begin talking about Morgan and her senior pictures! The first time I ever saw her was in the Lion King play when she was in middle school and I had done senior pictures for her older sister just a few months before that. We've taken pictures a couple times over the last year for other projects I was working on and now just look at her all grown up and ready to graduate!

She wanted an urban and unique location for her session and I knew going to Downtown Atlanta would fit her adventurous personality perfectly! Her mom suggested using the Fox Theatre as one of our locations so that's where we started. Morgan brought her clarinet and it was so fun to do some pictures in that gorgeous floral dress there on Peachtree Street. I also brought this white tulle skirt that I thought would be perfect on her and she brought a classic black top and amazing pink heels to pair with it and she was literally stopping traffic in that outfit!

I brought an extra camera with me loaded with this fun Dubblefilm Jelly film to experiment with because it has these amazing colors and you don't have any idea how the pictures will turn out so we did just a few but these 2 pictures turned out SO amazing that I wish we had taken more!

We left Peachtree Street and headed over to Piedmont Park for the rest of her shoot. We began shooting in the parking deck with this awesome fringe leather jacket and her jeans and then she changed into a beautiful floral maxi dress and we headed over to the meadow with her banjo. One of my favorite things about shooting in Piedmont is that you can get great skyline views and also capture images in more secluded nature settings. It has so much variety!

Ready to Book Your Senior Session?!

Morgan is part of our Color Guard and Winter Guard at Sequoyah so she definitely wanted to incorporate that into her portraits but we didn't want to try and carry all of her gear around Atlanta. Instead, we opted for a mini-session a week later close to home and I knew she wanted some silhouette images so we met at this hill where all you can see is sky! I can't recall any other session having so much variety in the ten years I've been doing this; it really allowed me to be creative and experiment and I'm thrilled that Morgan and her mom absolutely love all her pics!
