Boho Styled Session

Last month I participated in what is known as a "styled session".  I have done styled shoots before but always on my own. These type of sessions are typically done so that vendors and photographers can have images for their websites or portfolios and are most often done for engagement and weddings.  I love styling sessions on my own around a particular concept or theme but this time it was nice to let someone else take the reigns and do all the coordinating!  Tracy Englund of This is You photography created the Boho theme with help from The Boho Bus clothing boutique in Milton, GA and she hired an amazing hairstylist and I recommended my favorite makeup artist, Lauren, to do makeup. The Boho Bus is actually an adorable VW bus and the owners have this beautiful property that they allowed us to use also!  The 3 models were Ella from Roswell High School, Gabi from Stockbridge and Rayden is Tracy's daughter.  I had so much fun meeting a few other photographers and the resulting images are absolutely some of my most favorites ever!  Though I don't feel like I need this kind of shoot for my portfolio it is just so nice to have a little more creative freedom since I am the only person I need to please with my work.  

Now I just gotta find myself a beautiful turquoise bus to drive around in all the time and I will be so happy!
