I had the most amazing time with Ally and her parents during her senior portrait session last year! It's hard to believe we took these pictures almost a year ago! But it's even harder to believe that this beautiful woman is all grown up! I've known her family since she was just a baby and I'm so honored that they would ask me to take her senior pictures.
I took her older brother's portraits a few years ago and they are obviously very different people. Nathan's session was in an urban location in Marietta but Ally wanted flowers and nature for her background. We went to a gorgeous little photography venue in Dahlonega that has a pretty greenhouse and a field of wildflowers. Then we finished up at a small lake in Dahlonega to incorporate some water into her pictures.
This year I'm offering two sessions based on length of time: a one hour session and a two hour session. A one hour session is enough time for just one location but a two hour session gives us more time to explore and get more variety. It's important to make sure that our locations are within 15-20 minutes driving distance so that we're not wasting the entire time in the car.
Having multiple locations for your senior pictures is such a great idea because it gives you so much more variety to your images! There's a lot we can do in a couple hours to make your senior portraits unique. I've had clients ask for Nature + City, Water + Nature, and so many other combinations and it's always fun for me to find ways to mix locations together and create an awesome experience for each person!
At Ally's image viewing appointment, her dad kept describing her as a confident young woman and you could just see both how proud both of her parents are of her! She's an absolutely incredible girl and I can't wait to see what God has planned for her future!
