Mikey and his family lived just down the street from me for several years. It was a sad day when they moved but at least they didn't go far. These are some of the coolest people on the planet and I loved getting to take Mikey's senior pictures! It's so hard to believe that all these guys, who were just kindergarteners when we moved here, are now graduating from high school. As you can see from his pics he plays lacrosse for Sequoyah High School and he's a very patriotic American and loves this country dearly! Red, white and blue was the only way to go with him and Veterans Field of the American Legion in Alpharetta across from Wills Park was a great location.
And please read at the end and watch a quick video about an organization that is important to Mikey!
One thing I've been asking the Class of 2018 is if they have charitable organization or social cause that is important to them. The reason I started asking this actually started with writing this post about Mikey. He's the kind of guy that has strong opinions and he's not afraid of what others think about his opinions and very outspoken and passionate about his beliefs. I absolutely LOVE this about him! The organization he mentioned is Team Rubicon. I'd never heard about this group so I looked them up to find out more. I love their story and their determination to go and do hard things and that they aren't held back by obstacles! Every time there is a local natural disaster I personally have a strong desire to get up and go and DO something and one day soon I hope to be trained in disaster relief. I can't wait for you to learn more about them also.
